Now that the weather is beginning to warm up I am going to be doing another shoot for the adorable leg warmers, and hair clips of www.crawlercovers.com.
We are looking for 7 new boys, and 6 new girls between the ages of 6 months-8 years to model the leg warmers. No experience necessary, and each model will receive one free set of 8 wallets.
I am also looking for 11 girls to model hair clips. Hair clip models must have enough hair to hold in a clip, and they must be under 13 years old. Hair clip models will also receive one free set of 8 wallets.
For those of you that are interested please e-mail me at sarahwheeler.blinkphotography@yahoo.com for further details. Also, please pass my blog link along to anyone that you know that might be interested in modeling for me, as I do have quite a few spots to fill
For those of you that aren’t interested in modeling, but are interested in booking a session, I am currently booking for April-July. I only take a limited amount of sessions per month, so dates typically book rather quickly. Please book now to ensure your spot.

Be Careful – Michigan Lifestyle Photographer
Let me first start by saying that accidents can happen to anyone…
Today my oldest son was almost hit by a car while going across the crosswalk to get into his school. The whole event couldn’t have taken more than a split second, but in that split second, which to me felt like minutes, my heart jumped out of my chest, and I found myself yelling my son’s name over and over again hoping to get his attention so that he would stop. (My windows were rolled up, and in that scary moment, it never occurred to me that he couldn’t hear me.) Luckily God was watching over him, and the driver, and they both stopped just in time. I will forever be grateful for that.
I am also thankful that what could have been a really bad situation instead became a wake up call, and that split second event this morning prompted me to write this blog. Parents, please remind your children that when they are walking across the crosswalk to go to school, to always make sure that the person who’s car they are crossing in front of sees them before they cross in front of them, and to please not run. If the person doesn’t see you, back up, and wait to cross.
I’m sure that you have all told this to your children many times, just as I have, but it never hurts to remind them again.
The second one is for anyone driving a car. If you are stopped at the crosswalk, please make sure to double, or even triple check that no children are by your car before you drive into the crosswalk. Little ones can be hard to see, and it only takes you a minute to look one more time.
Accidents happen, but if we are all more aware of our surroundings many can be prevented.
I am going to hug, and squeeze my little ones today, and let them know that I don’t know what I would do without them. And after that, I am going to give them these simple reminders. Hopefully all of you will do the same.
Today was scary, but it reminded my that my life is truly filled with sunshine, lollipops, happiness, and love…
I hope that your’s is too. Have a wonderful, safe weekend!

Welcome To Parenthood – Michigan Child Photographer
The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.

Sunshine, Lollipops, Happiness, and Love – Michigan Lifestyle Photographer
Those words are something that I often say to my kids. Something that I remind them when their little lives are feeling difficult. Whether it be because they don’t want to clean up their messes, because they aren’t getting along, or simply because they are having a crabby day.
When difficult moments hit our house, lately I find myself taking a deep breath, and reminding my kids, “Sunshine, Lollipops, Happiness, and Love…” The first time I said it to my kids they looked at me like I had lost my mind, and to be honest it sounded silly to me too, but I found those words spilling out of my mouth none the less.
Once I said them, I was surprised to find that something so simple really seems to help everyone de-stress a little. It reminded them not to be so crabby, and to approach a situation from a better perspective. It reminded them to treat each other with respect, and love. It reminded them that life is beautiful, if they choose to make it that way. It gave them a goal, something to strive for…
So, since it has become the motto of our house, and it makes our hearts feel happy, I will be ending my blog posts that way from now on.
So, when you finish reading my blog, remember to take a big breath, relax, and look at life in a better way.
One filled with Sunshine, Lollipops, Happiness, and Love…

Little Miss E – Michigan Lifestyle Photographer
Little Miss E is the adorable big sister of Little Mr. J.
I have been photographing Little Miss E since she was a newborn, and every time I see her I can’t get over just how much she has grown. This time was no exception. She was talking so much more than the last time that I saw her, and my goodness does she have a cute little voice!

Thank you for playing with me Little Miss E, I can’t wait to see you again

Words From The Heart- Michigan Photographer
For Christmas I was looking for a unique gift for my husband, and my mom. I wanted something that they didn’t already own, and it had to be something that I knew wouldn’t get tossed into their re-gift pile…
So, I decided to make them a book that contained some of my writings, and photos. They loved my book so much that they couldn’t resist sharing it with friends, and family.
I have received many wonderful comments about my book, such as; “This is so beautiful…”, “You writings, and photos are amazing!”, “Wow, your book is so inspiring!”, “Your words were so true, and touching that it made me cry.”, “As a woman, and a Mom, I can totally relate to how you feel.”, “This is so unique, I want to order one!”, and “This would make an awesome Mother’s Day gift!”
I was overwhelmed with the amazing response that my book has gotten that when I was asked if I would be willing to have more books made, and sell them I had to say yes.
I currently have 2 copies of my book already printed, and ready to be shipped to you. So, the first two people to purchase it will receive their book the fastest. What does that mean for the rest of you? It means that I will be ordering more!
If you are interested in purchasing a copy for yourself, or a loved one please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make sure to order enough copies. The book is a 5×5, hard covered, self published book, with a dust jacket, and the price is $45, which includes your shipping and handling. You can e-mail me at sarahwheeler.blinkphotography@yahoo.com

(This book does contain 2 artistic nude photos. While all private areas are covered, you will see some skin.)

I hope that everyone has a great week!
